What is a Reset?

A Reset returns your Trading Combine® account to its original starting balance, resetting your Account Balance, Maximum Loss Limit, Consistency Target, and trading days back to day one.

If you break the Maximum Loss Limit, your account becomes ineligible for funding. You can Reset immediately or wait for a Reset credit at your next rebill date.

Resets are available anytime during your subscription, whether you're restarting an ineligible account or simply starting fresh. To help prevent overtrading, Resets are limited to 2 per account per day.

Does resetting my account change my subscription rebill date?

Purchasing a Reset will automatically move your Trading Combine subscription rebill date 30 days later from the day of your Reset. For example, if your rebill date is August 30th and you purchase a Reset on August 28th, your new rebill date will be September 29th.

Please note: Your Trading Combine no longer resets automatically when your subscription renews. Instead, each monthly rebill will one Reset Credit to your Reset Bank, based on your account size and path!

How can I get a free Reset?

We sometimes offer free Resets on TopstepTV and through our newsletter. Stay tuned to TopstepTV and subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know.

Are Resets refundable?

No. Resets are nonrefundable. We also cannot reverse accidental Resets, so always double-check the account number before confirming.

Can an applied Reset credit be reversed?

No. Once a Reset Credit is applied, it cannot be reversed or refunded. If your account was in profit before the Reset and no trades were placed afterward, Support may adjust your new profit target.

How do Reset credits work?

The Reset Bank stores the Reset credits you've earned or been issued. These can be used on active accounts at any time. Reset credits remain tied to your profile even if you cancel your subscription. They will be available for use if you purchase a new Trading Combine in the future.

Reset Credits:

  • Functions the same way as a purchased Reset, including moving your rebill date 30 days later

  • Expiration depends on the issue date:

    • Credits issued before 12/11/2025 do not expire

    • Credits issued on or after 12/11/2025 expire 1 year after they're added to your Reset Bank

  • Are tied to a specific account size and path (Standard or No Activation Fee)

  • Can only be used on the matching size and path

  • Cannot be transferred to other account types or converted into purchase vouchers

  • Cannot be combined (e.g., two 50K credits cannot be used to Reset a 100K Trading Combine)

Your Dashboard shows:

  • How many Reset Credits you have

  • Which sizes and paths they apply to

  • Expiration dates for your credits

  • Detailed tracking of Reset Credits, including their expiration dates and account-specific restrictions, is available on your Dashboard.

You can stack as many Reset Credits as you want. When resetting an account, the system will automatically use the oldest matching credit first.
