You can now assign Nicknames to your TopstepX™ accounts, keeping them organized and easily sortable to avoid trading in the wrong account.
How it works
When you view your accounts on the dropdown menu, you’ll see a pencil/edit icon that you can select.
That triggers a pop-up allowing you to name the account whatever you want.
Once you save, you’ll see the updated Nickname in the drop-down menu.

Does this work on Trading Combines, Express Funded Accounts, and Live Funded Accounts?
Yes, Nicknames work on all account types. You can give any account a nickname!
Do I have to update the Nickname if I reset a Trading Combine?
Yes, Resetting creates a new account number and clears the Nickname.
Can I change or delete the Nickname at any time?
Yes, by selecting the pencil/edit icon on an account that has a Nickname, you’ll receive a pop-up that gives you the option to delete or change your Nickname.
Will my Nickname be visible to the Trader Support Team?
No, not at this time. This means that if Windy requests your account number when you are connecting with the team, you'll want to provide the original account number and not the Nickname.
Is there a character limit for Nicknames?
Yes, Nicknames are limited to thirty (30) characters.
Can I use special characters in my Nickname?
Yes, you can use special characters in Nicknames, including spaces.
