What is the new Topstep Dashboard?

Topstep's new Dashboard makes it easier for you to track your trading progress, manage accounts, and handle things like payouts and Resets all in one place.

Real-time updates allow you to create Express Funded Accounts as soon as you pass, have payouts deducted instantly so you can get back in the markets ASAP, and live stats that show you exactly how you're doing.

How do I access the new Topstep Dashboard?

If you have an active TopstepX Trading Combine, you will see a yellow bar at the top of your dashboard inviting you to make a new TopstepX account purchase.

If you don't have an active TopstepX Trading Combine, you can click the yellow ‘Start a Trading Combine’ button in the top right corner to purchase a new TopstepX account.

What is the Reset Bank?

The Reset Bank allows you to bank a Reset with every Trading Combine rebill. Use it, bank it, and apply it later. You’re in control.

Do bankable Resets expire?

The Reset Bank stores the Reset Credits you’ve earned or been issued. These can be used on active accounts at any time.

There are now two types of Reset Credits:

Reset Credits banked before 12/10/2025

  • Do not expire

  • Can be used on any Standard Path Combine size

Reset Credits issued after 12/10/2025

  • Expire 1 year after they’re issued

  • Are tied to a specific account size and path (Standard or No Activation Fee)

  • Can only be used on the matching size and path

Your Dashboard shows:

  • How many Reset Credits you have

  • Which sizes and paths they apply to

  • Expiration dates for any newer credits

You can stack as many Reset Credits as you want, and our system will use the oldest matching one first when resetting an account.

What happened to Reset-at-Rebill?

As of August 2025, Reset-at-Rebill is no longer available. Your Combine no longer resets automatically when your subscription renews.

Instead, each monthly rebill adds one Reset Credit to your Reset Bank, based on your account size and path.

How to apply a Reset on the new Dashboard

  1. Log in to your Topstep Dashboard.

  2. Select the active Trading Combine you want to Reset.

  3. Click Reset.

  4. If you have eligible Reset Credits, you'll see how many apply to that account.

  5. Confirm the Reset.

  6. If you don’t have an eligible Reset Credit for the account size/type you are trying to Reset, you can purchase a Reset.

Why aren’t all of my accounts showing up in my new Topstep Dashboard?

Only newly purchased accounts will display within your new Topstep Dashboard. Any accounts purchased prior to joining the new Topstep Dashboard are still accessible via https://app.topsteptrader.com/dashboard.

Why do I have to verify my identity?

We have several verification processes in place to help us confirm that a trader's identity is legitimate and that they are who they say they are. These processes help keep Topstep safe from fraudulent activity.

Can I use a Practice Account?

Yes, Practice Accounts are available on the new Dashboard with an active Trading Combine subscription. If you only have an Express Funded Account or a Live Funded Account, you will not have access to a Practice Account.

To activate your Practice Account, please follow these steps:

  1. Log into the new Topstep Dashboard

  2. Click “Accounts” on the left-hand side of your screen

  3. Click "Add Ons" on the top left-hand side of your screen

  4. A new page with the option to activate your TopstepX Practice Account will display

  5. Click Activate

If you want to close your Practice Account on the new Dashboard, simply follow the steps above, but the button will now say "unsubscribe". A new page will appear again, asking you to confirm the cancellation.

I'm having issues making my Express Funded Account activation fee payment, what should I do now?

If you're using an ad blocker, try disabling it or switching to a different browser, then try submitting the payment again.

Which payment methods can I use?

Topstep accepts the following methods of payment on the new Dashboard:

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

  • American Express

  • Discover

Please note: PayPal is not supported on the new Topstep Dashboard.

What are the Trading Combine and Reset purchase limits?

In the new dashboard, you can purchase up to 10 Trading Combines each month. You can also purchase 2 Resets on each Trading Combine, every day. Resets can only be purchased on active subscriptions. This means if you cancel a subscription, you won't be able to Reset it.

We attempt transparency every step of the way, to ensure you are notified of our policy regarding Trading Combine and Reset purchases. Excessive account resetting or frequent new Trading Combine purchases can create bad trading habits, which is not in line with our mission. Because of this, we always encourage our traders to Trade Responsibly. This is all detailed in our article here.

The Trader Support Team is unable to adjust these limits in any way or make an exception regarding purchase limits. If you have reached the maximum number for the day or month, the only option is to wait until the date indicated on the banner you saw at the top of your dashboard.

How do I purchase Level 2 data?

To purchase Level 2 Data on the new Dashboard, visit your Accounts tab and then click Add Ons. After that, select Depth of Market Bundle.

Please note that Level 2 data is not prorated. This means you'll be charged the full price regardless of when you purchase. You will also be charged on the 1st of each month, regardless of when you signed up initially. For example, if you sign up on the 26th of the month, you will still be charged on the 1st of the next month when the subscription renews.

Why aren’t my accounts on the legacy dashboard showing on the new Dashboard?

The new Dashboard will only display accounts purchased within the new dashboard. Any accounts acquired through the legacy dashboard will remain there and cannot be transferred to the new dashboard.

Why am I receiving an error message when trying to add my phone number?

Your Topstep profile requires that the phone number be at least 11 numbers. Please include the country code before your phone number. For example, in the United States, the country code is 1.

How do I cancel my Trading Combine subscription?

To cancel your subscription in the new dashboard, you can do so from your Billing page. If you're unsure which account you're trying to cancel, you can first go to your Accounts page to find the subscription ID for the Trading Combine you'd like to cancel.

We're still working on updating features in the new dashboard, so for now, only the subscription ID is shown on your Billing page. This extra step may be necessary if you're unsure of the specific ID number.

For example, in the screenshot above, the Trading Combine account name 50KTC-V2-181429-15166904 corresponds to Subscription ID 149038.

From there, go to your Billing page and click the "x" next to that subscription ID to cancel it:

You'll be prompted to confirm you understand the terms of canceling the subscription next:

All traders in the new dashboard can purchase up to 10 Trading Combine subscriptions each month, and purchase 2 Resets each day on each Trading Combine. Please keep this in mind before canceling your subscriptions.

How do I add or update my payment information?

To update your payment information for an existing subscription you can visit your Billing page and click Add New Card at the top. From there, enter your payment details and click save.

Next, scroll down to Subscriptions, go to the subscription you'd like to update, and click the Edit icon:

Following that, a pop-up will appear and enable you to select the payment method you'd like to use from a drop-down menu. Select your preferred payment method, and you're good to go!
