Exporting Trades on TopstepX™

Did you know you can export your trades on TopstepX™? Exporting your trades is an extremely helpful feature because it lets you:

  • Analyze Performance: Reviewing your trade history lets you see what's working and what's not, helping you improve your strategies.

  • Optimize Strategies: Use past data to test and refine your trading strategies.

  • Manage Risk: Analyze your trade patterns to manage risk better and set effective limits.

  • Understand Behavior: Understand your trading habits and emotional responses to improve discipline and decision-making.

To export your trades on TopstepX, follow these simple steps:

  1. Click the Orders or Trades tab at the bottom of the page.

  2. Click "Export".

  3. Select the date range of the trades you want to export and click "Export".

  4. Once the Orders have been Exported, you'll see a confirmation at the bottom-left of your screen.

Upload your trades to Excel, Sheets, or any program you prefer. Congratulations, you've successfully exported your trades!

Trading Journal (TradeZella)

TopstepX has partnered with TradeZella and you can now export your trades from the platform to your TradeZella account to better track, analyze, and learn from your trades! Please note: Using TradeZella is optional and requires a paid membership. Any questions or issues you have with a new or existing TradeZella account will need to be directed to their Customer Support Team. Topstep cannot troubleshoot issues with your TradeZella account.

To import your trades from TopstepX into TradeZella, follow these steps:

  • Log in to your TopstepX account.

  • Click the "Trades" tab. (Please note: when importing trades to TradeZella, you must use the Trades tab and not the Orders tab or the import will not be successful)

  • Click on "Export" at the bottom right corner of the Trades tab.

  • Select the date range of the trades you want to export and click "Export".

  • Save the exported file in CSV format to your desktop.

  • Go to the TradeZella File Upload page.

  • Select the account where you want to upload this file. Choose "TopstepX" from the broker list. Upload the saved CSV file containing your trades.

  • TradeZella will handle the rest, ensuring your trades from TopstepX are imported accurately.

If your file fails to upload, verify that the file contains your trade data and is not empty.
